By downloading, installing, or using BoxSeat, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
BoxSeat is a free application that provides live cricket scores, match statistics, and schedules across iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and the web. The app and site display data obtained from third-party cricket data providers.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BoxSeat ("the app," "we," "our"). By using BoxSeat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use BoxSeat for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.

BoxSeat displays cricket data provided by SportsMonks and other third-party data providers. We do not guarantee the accuracy of scores or statistics, timeliness of updates, completeness of data, or availability of specific matches or tournaments. Cricket data is provided "as is" without warranty — any errors or delays in data originate from third-party sources, not BoxSeat.
BoxSeat is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the International Cricket Council (ICC), the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), any cricket board, league, or team, or SportsMonks or other data providers.
We provide BoxSeat on a free, best-effort basis. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the app at any time, add or remove features, limit access to certain features or data, or temporarily suspend the service for maintenance. We are not liable for any disruption of service.
BoxSeat offers an optional "Tip Jar" — voluntary donations to support development. All features remain free regardless of donation. Tips are non-refundable and final, and do not unlock features or provide special benefits. All purchases are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system and subject to Apple's payment terms.
You agree to use BoxSeat in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will not use the app to infringe intellectual property rights, attempt to circumvent any technical limitations, interfere with the app's operation or servers, use automated tools to access the app (bots, scrapers), or violate any laws using the app.
BoxSeat, including its design, code, graphics, and branding (including the teal cricket ball logo), is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights reserved.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or bug reports, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve BoxSeat.
BoxSeat is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy or reliability of data. We do not warrant that the app will meet your requirements, that scores or statistics will be accurate or timely, that the app will be available at all times, or that defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BoxSeat and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; loss of profits, data, or use; damages resulting from inaccurate cricket data; interruption of service; or any damages arising from use or inability to use the app. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
Maximum liability: in any event, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which is typically $0, as the app is free).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BoxSeat and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle data (spoiler: we don't collect personal data unless you choose to sign in).
BoxSeat is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service. In case of conflict, Apple's terms govern the distribution and installation of the app; these Terms govern your use of it.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to BoxSeat at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may terminate this agreement by uninstalling BoxSeat from your devices. Upon termination, your license to use the app ends immediately, local data on your device remains until you delete it, and these Terms survive termination where applicable.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date below. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will provide notice within the app or on this site.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of India.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BoxSeat regarding use of the app, superseding any prior agreements.
